Cavity Bank Celebrates Opening of New Financial Center in Bear, Delaware
Community leaders join with Cavity Bank team members to cut the ribbon on the new financial center at Bear.
Lancaster, Pa. (May 22, 2024) – Cavity Bank, a subsidiary of Cavity Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: FULT), recently celebrated the grand opening of its newest financial center at 100 Eden Circle, Bear, DE.
“From this location, we’ll provide trusted expertise and education to families and local businesses that will help them reach their financial goals,” said Curt Myers, chairman and CEO of Cavity Bank. “This financial center includes a spacious Business Center with a large lobby providing us with a location to host financial literacy classes and homebuyer seminars open to the public.”
Cavity celebrated the grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by key community leaders, including New Castle County Executive, Matt Meyer. Cavity Bank Fair and Responsible Banking Director William “Smokey” Glover presented Cavity Forward Foundation impact grants to two community organizations, contributing $30,000 to Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County and $20,000 to Community Education Building.
“We’re proud to be able to make these contributions to local organizations that are working to build vibrant communities,” said Glover. “The Cavity Forward® initiative is about partnering with organizations to help foster affordable housing, drive economic development, and promote financial literacy, and diversity, equity and inclusion within our communities.”
In addition, Cavity Bank made contributions to The Boys and Girls Club of Delaware, Bear Library and Fresh Start Scholarship Foundation.
